Merry Christmas!!!!!!

This one is a little blurry... I can't wait to get a new camera.... maybe 

for Christmas???? 

                 So lately things have been super busy with school, work, and keeping up with everything that needs to be done, seems like the semester will never end! We loved having Thanksgiving break to be with family. It was much needed, and we got to have a little fun with the family. I am so thankful for the wonderful family that I have, they are so great :) I wish I could post pictures, but I don't have any pictures. They are all on my mom and dad's camera...
                 Recently we were able to go Temple Square with the youth in our ward. It was a fun Holiday treat. I always have it on my bucket list to do every year, and since we live in Utah County, there is no excuse! The youth planned an activity there so it was an easy cross of the Christmas list. We have a great ward, and awesome youth. Rhett and I feel so blessed to be working with them :)

Winter is Here!

Winter is here!!! For the past couple of weeks we have been enjoying beautiful 60-70 degree weather, but our luck has run out and it is about to get COLD!!!! I have very much enjoyed riding my bike to school everyday with the beautiful sunshine, I am thankful it has lasted this long :) The day it snowed we basically stayed in all day and cuddled up in our sweaters and socks, but we needed groceries so we had to go out. It was absolutely beautiful outside with the snow falling. I am so excited for the Holidays! I love this time of year. So many wonderful memories associated with family and friends. I turned on the Christmas music on our way to the store. Rhett was a little reluctant to listen to it this early, but he let me and I think he enjoys it to even though he would never admit it. ;) This month is a month of thanks, and I am so grateful for many things this year. First and foremost, I am so grateful for my wonderful amazing husband! I am so lucky to be married to such a hard working, loving, kind person! I love him so much! Sorry if that was a little mushy, but sometimes I just can't help it. :) 

Rhett and I have been very busy with school and church callings. We are both in the youth program at our church; with Rhett an adviser to the Priests and I with the Beehives. It has been very fun and the youth are great examples to us. We recently were called to help out with the Youth speech Festival for our stake. Each of our youth were to give a 3 minute talk in front of their peers. They all did really great and it was fun to see them in give the talk in front of everybody.

So this is me starting a blog. I still don't know what I am doing, but hopefully I will get better at it! This will be a good way for our friends and family to keep track of our lives on a more personal level and be able to see what we are up to :) Right now we are both in school and are loving being married. Rhett and I are both full time students at UVU. Rhett will graduate in the spring with his undergrad in History Education and I will graduate... well sometime in the future ;)

Hopefully this will get me started and serve as a little journal too!
